How to play Tapa Line

Tapa Line Puzzle Rules:

  • Empty squares can be filled black to become black areas, and all black squares must be connected as a whole.

  • There cannot be four consecutive black squares in any row or column.

  • Clue squares marked with numbers cannot be filled black. The numbers represent the number of consecutive black squares in the eight surrounding squares.

  • If there are multiple numbers in a clue square, the parts consisting of these black squares must be separated by at least one white square.

  • Question marks (?) can replace numbers, representing any non-zero positive integer.

  • The rules of Tapa Classic apply, except for the following additional constraint:

  • No row or column can contain four consecutive black cells.
